Actress and animal lover Jodi Sta. Maria shared a cute update on the newest member of their family in her latest Instagram post.
A few weeks after rescuing a stray kitten at the airport last January 6, actress Jodi Sta. Maria gave an update on her new furbaby that she decided to name “Naia” in an Instagram post last January 23. Jodi wrote the post through the point of view of the young ginger cat and includes her most recent photos with her fur mom.
In the post, Jodi wrote,
“Mommy and Naia Photo Dump
1. Happy to be reunited with my mom after she left for a short trip. I got dewormed and scheduled for my 1st round of shots! 😊
2. While I was playing with my mom’s phone. I had fun trying to catch the mouse appearing on the screen.
3. The look on my face when I found out they were going on a trip.
4. Making lambing my mom so she wouldn’t leave. I’m going to miss her but I know she’ll be back in no time to play with me again.
5. At @vetsinpracticeanimalhospital
They took good care of me there while my mom was away. My room was comfy and the ates and kuyas spent time with me too to make sure I won’t get home sick.
That’s all for now folks! Enjoy the rest of the day ahead.”
It was on January 6 upon arriving back in the country from a family trip to Japan that Jodi first shared how she ended up bringing home a new kitten and had her brought to a vet for immediate medical attention. In her original post, Jodi wrote, “As I was walking down the ramp ng Arrival ng NAIA Terminal 1, I heard a kitten meowing its heart out as if asking for help and food. Tapos nakita ko siya na nababangga ng cart ng mga pasahero. Lost in space siya sa chaos ng airport. I asked for a plastic bag, nilagay ko siya sa loob tapos nilabas ko yung head nya then isinakay sa van.”
Last year, Jodi took on the role of Dra. Jill Ilustre in the hugely popular series The Broken Marriage Vow which was the local adaptation of the 2015 British series Doctor Foster which also has a South Korean version called The World of the Married.
This month, it was announced that Jodi would also be part of the upcoming project Unbreak My Heart which marks the first collaboration of ABS-CBN, GMA, and Viu on a television series. The will be filmed in Switzerland and will be top-billed by Jodi, Joshua Garcia, Gabbi Garcia, and Richard Yap.
